Jenna Goins - BBAHEC

Meet Jenna Goins, a 2024 Doctor of Pharmacy graduate from Florida A&M University. Through the AHEC Scholar Program, Jenna discovered her passion for serving medically underserved populations and advancing health equity. Combining the knowledge from her PharmD program with the skills and dedication she developed as an AHEC Scholar, Jenna now serves as a Health Disparities and Outcomes Research Fellow at Touro College of Pharmacy. Yadiel Soria Rivera - SRAHEC

Meet Yadiel Soria Rivera, a current AHEC scholar in the Nuclear Medicine program at Santa Fe College, graduating in 2025. Yadiel's involvement in experiential hours opportunities provided by the AHEC scholars program has helped prepare him to work with diverse patient groups in various settings in his future career. Meet Victoria Seraphin, a current student in the Master of Public Health program at UF, graduating in 2025. Her commitment and dedication to the AHEC Scholar Program has provided her with experience and knowledge that will contribute to reaching her goal of opening up her own practice in a medically underserved area. Meet Priya Singh, a 2024 Master of Public Health graduate who discovered her passion for serving rural communities through the AHEC Scholar Program. Thanks to her dedication and the valuable connections she made, Priya is now set to make a difference at a local health department as a Health Educator Consultant.
